Yocon Medication - Uses & Side Effects

Yocon is used for the treatment of male impotence. It work by stimulating the release of norepinephrine, one of the body's natural chemical regulators.

Yocon Dosage

  • For adults, the usual starting dosage is one 5.4-milligram tablet, 3 times a day.
  • This drug is not for use in children.

Side Effects of Yocon

  • Decreased urination
  • Flushing
  • Headache
  • Increase in blood pressure
  • Nausea

Warnings and precautions before taking Yocon:

  • This medication is not use by children, the elderly, or men with heart and kidney disease and also have a history of stomach or duodenal ulcer.
  • After taken this medicine, then you may feel dizzy, or drowsiness. So you should not participate in any activities that require alertness such as driving and operate machinery.

Drug Interaction :-

If you are taking Yocon with certain other drugs, then the effects of either could be increased, decreased, or altered. So it is especially important to check with your doctor before combining Yocon with drugs for depression such as Elavil or other drugs that change mood.


No specific symptoms of Yocon overdose have been reported. But after taken Yocon if you feel that overdose is suspected, then you should contact with your doctor immediately. Because it may lead to another serious effect.
