Urised Medication - Uses & Side Effects

Urised is an antispasmodic, urinary anti-infective, and analgesic combination. It is used to treat the discomfort of various types of urinary tract infections or diagnostic procedures.

Urised Dosage

  • The usual starting dose is 2 tablets and you should be taken 4 times a day.
  • The dosage for children 6 years and older must be determined by your doctor.

Uses of Urised

  • It is used to treat urinary tract infections and also helps to treat pain, burning and other associated symptoms.

Side Effects of Urised

Before taken Urised medicine, you should discuss the side effects with your doctor.  If any develop or change in intensity, then you should inform your doctor as soon as possible. Because only your doctor can determine if it is safe for you to continue taking Urised. Side effects may include:

  • Acute urinary retention
  • Blurry vision
  • Difficulty urinating
  • Flushing
  • Rapid pulse
  • Skin rash

Warnings and precautions before taking Urised:

  • If you have kidney problems, liver disease, stomach or intestinal disorders, then you should tell your doctor.
  • After taken this medicine, then you may feel dizzy, or drowsiness. So you should not participate in any activities that require alertness such as driving and operate machinery.
  • Urised should be used cautiously if you have heart disease or have ever had a reaction to medications that are chemically similar to atropine.

Drug Interaction :-

If you are taking Urised with certain other drugs, then the effects of either could be increased, decreased, or altered. So it is especially important to check with your doctor before combining Urised with the following:

  • Acetazolamide
  • Potassium supplements
  • Sodium bicarbonate antacids
  • Sulfa drugs

After taken Urised if you feel that overdose is suspected, then you should contact with your doctor immediately. Because it may lead to another serious effect. Symptoms of a Urised overdose include:

  • Bladder and abdominal irritation
  • Bloody urine
  • Circulatory collapse
  • Dilated pupils
  • Mouth
  • Elevated blood pressure
  • Hot
  • Flushed skin
