Teveten is used to treat high blood pressure. It is a member of the family of drugs known as angiotensin II receptor blockers. It works by blocking the receptors that respond to angiotensin II. The drug may be used alone or in combination with other medications that help lower blood pressure, such as water pills or calcium channel blockers.
