Tambocor Medication - Uses & Side Effects

Tambocor is used to treat various heart rhythm disturbances, including paroxysmal atrial fibrillation and paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia.

Tambocor Dosage

  • For adults, the usual starting dose is 50 to 100 milligrams every 12 hours, depending on the medical condition under treatment.
  • For Children's, the usual dosage is based on body surface area.

Uses of Tambocor

  • Flecainide is used to treat serious irregularity in heartbeat patterns.

Side Effects of Tambocor

  • Visual disturbances
  • Pins and needles

Drug Interaction :-

  • Amiodarone
  • Beta blockers
  • Carbamazepine
  • Diltiazem
  • Nifedipine
  • Phenobarbital

Overdose of Tambocor is likely to cause slowed or rapid heartbeat, other cardiac problems, fainting, low blood pressure, nausea, vomiting, convulsions, and heart failure.
