Guanfacine medication helps to control high blood pressure. This medication reduces nerve impulses to the heart and arteries and it also helps to slows the heartbeat, relaxes the blood vessels. You can also use this medication alone or in combination with other high blood pressure medications, especially thiazide diuretics, such as diuril, esidrix, or naturetin.

Guanfacine Hydrochloride Dosage

  • The usual starting dose of guanfacine is 1 milligram daily and you should be taken this medication at bedtime.
