Cyclocort Medication - Uses & Side Effects

Cyclocort is used to treats inflammatory and itchy symptoms of skin disorders that are responsive to corticosteroid treatment.

Cyclocort Dosage

  • You should be apply a thin film of Cyclocort to the affected area 2 or 3 times a day.

  • This medication is used to treat a variety of skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, allergies, rash.

Side Effects of Cyclocort

Before taken Cyclocort medicine, you should discuss the side effects with your doctor. If any develop or change in intensity, then you should inform your doctor as soon as possible. Because only your doctor can determine if it is safe for you to continue taking Cyclocort. Side effects may include:

  • Burning
  • Itching
  • Soreness

Warnings and precautions before taking Cyclocort:

  • Before using amcinonide, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to it; or to other corticosteroids; or if you have any other allergies.
  • Before using this medication, you should tell your doctor your medical history, especially if you have poor blood circulation, immune system problems.
  • If any of the following side effects occur such as vision problems, persistent headache, increased thirst/urination, unusual weight loss, unusual weakness, dizziness, then you should tell your doctor immediately.

Drug Interaction :-No interactions with food or other drugs have been reported. But if you are taking Cyclocort with certain other drugs, then the effects of either could be increased, decreased, or altered. So it is especially important to check with your doctor before combining Cyclocort with other drugs.


A severe overdosage is unlikely with the use of Cyclocort. But after taken Cyclocort if you feel that overdose is suspected, then you should contact with your doctor immediately. Because it may lead to another serious effect.
