Estrogen Medication - Uses & Side Effects

Estrogen Patches are used to reduce symptoms of menopause, such as feelings of warmth in the face, neck, and chest. It is also used for other medical conditions that may cause low levels of estrogen. For example, the treatment of osteoporosis, a condition in which the bones become easily broken. So you should be taken diet with calcium supplements, and exercise, estraderm.

Estrogen Patches Dosage

  • The usual starting dose is 0.05 milligram patch and you should be applied to the skin 2 times a week.
  • For the treatment of osteoporosis, the doctor will prescribe a 0.025 milligram patch and you should be applied to the skin once a week.

Uses of Estrogen Patches

Side Effects of Estrogen Patches
