Diprolene Medication - Uses & Side Effects

Diprolene, a synthetic cortisone-like steroid available in cream, gel, lotion, or ointment form, is used to treat certain itchy rashes and other inflammatory skin conditions.

Diprolene Dosage

  • If you are using Cream or ointment, then you should be apply a thin film to the affected skin areas once or twice daily.
  • If you are using Lotion, then you should be apply a few drops of Diprolene Lotion to the affected area once or twice daily.

Uses of Diprolene

  • Betamethasone is used to treat the itching, redness, dryness, crusting, scaling, inflammation, and discomfort of various skin conditions.

Side Effects of Diprolene

Before taken Diprolene medicine, you should discuss the side effects with your doctor. If any develop or change in intensity, then you should inform your doctor as soon as possible. Because only your doctor can determine if it is safe for you to continue taking Diprolene. Side effects may include:

  • Acne-like eruptions
  • Cracking or tightening
  • Dryness
  • Excess hair growth
  • Infected hair follicles

Warnings and precautions before taking Diprolene:
