Ansaid Medication - Uses & Side Effects

Flurbiprofen is in a class of medications known as NSAIDs. It works by stopping the body's production of a substance that may causes pain, fever, and inflammation. Flurbiprofen is used to treats pain, tenderness, swelling, and stiffness that may be caused by osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Ansaid Dosage

  • For the treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis or Osteoarthritis, the usual starting dosage is a total of 200 to 300 milligrams a day.
  • The safety and effectiveness of Ansaid have not been established in children.

Uses of Ansaid

  • Ansaid is used to treats the inflammation, swelling, stiffness, and joint pain that are associated with rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.

Overdose

  • Agitation
  • Change in pupil size
  • Coma
  • Disorientation
  • Dizziness
  • Headache
  • Nausea
  • Shallow breathing
